Hi-Fi provides fast, simple access to your music library. Hi-Fi’s streamlined, minimalist design captures some of the fun and magic of a time when it was revolutionary to carry 1,000 songs in your pocket.
Where to Get Hi-Fi
Section titled “Where to Get Hi-Fi”Hi-Fi will be available soon — exclusively for iPhone and iPad on the App Store.
Hi-Fi Features
Section titled “Hi-Fi Features”- Play music from Apple Music*, iTunes Match*, or locally synced files.
- Browse, search, and sort your music library — including albums, artists, genres, playlists, and songs.
- Shuffle and repeat songs.
- AirPlay to compatible devices, including AirPods and HomePod.
- Search the Apple Music* catalog for more music.
- Listen to music at the highest available quality, including high-quality AAC, lossless ALAC, Apple Digital Masters, and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos.
- No ads. Ever.
- Hi-Fi is private. We don’t track our users.
* Apple subscription required. Learn more about Apple Music or iTunes Match.
Not Supported by Hi-Fi
Section titled “Not Supported by Hi-Fi”- You can’t delete music in Hi-Fi.
- You can’t create or modify playlists in Hi-Fi.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- An iPhone or iPad running iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later.
- For Apple Music subscribers:
- Apple Music app must be installed on your device. Learn more about Apple Music.
- For iTunes Match subscribers:
- Apple Music app must be installed on your device. Learn more about iTunes Match.
- To listen to locally synced music files:
- Mac with Apple Music app; or
- Windows PC with Apple Music and Apple Devices apps installed.
Installation
Section titled “Installation”Getting started is easy.
- Buy the app in the App Store and install it on your iPhone or iPad.
- Allow access to your music library.
- Enjoy your music!
