Playlists

You can create and edit your own playlists in Hi-Fi.

To create a new playlist in Hi-Fi:

  1. Browse to the music you want to add.

  2. Tap the menu icon, and then tap Add to Playlist.

  3. Enter a name for the new playlist, then tap to save.

To add music to a playlist in Hi-Fi:

  1. Browse to the music you want to add.

  2. Tap the menu icon, then tap Add to Playlist.

  3. Select the name of the playlist where the music should be added.

You can rearrange or delete the songs in a Hi-Fi playlist.

Navigate to Hi-Fi → Playlists. Select the Hi-Fi playlist that you want to edit, and tap the edit icon.

  1. To rearrange songs in your playlist, drag the icon next to the song.

  2. To delete a song, tap the song and then tap the delete icon.

  3. When you’re done making changes, tap to save.

Hi-Fi can only edit its own playlists. If you want to edit a playlist from an outside source, you can make a copy of the playlist inside Hi-Fi.

  1. While viewing the playlist you want to copy, tap the menu icon, and then tap Add to Playlist.

  2. Enter a name for the new playlist, then tap to save.

  3. Navigate back to Playlists and find the new Hi-Fi playlist.

  4. Now you can make changes directly in Hi-Fi.

Playlists cannot be deleted in Hi-Fi. To delete a playlist, you can use the Apple Music app.
